Overview
A rash is characterized by a change in the look and feel of the skin. It can be identified by skin redness, irritation, itching, or the production of tiny bumps, lesions, or blisters in the afflicted region. It appears anywhere on the body and ranges in size, shape, and intensity depending on the underlying reason. They can be acute (for a short period of time) or chronic (for a long period of time), and they may be accompanied by other symptoms such as dry skin. Anyone can have rashes, but persons with compromised immune systems are more prone to get them.
